The imperfections, light leaks, grain, and warm colors feel closer to the way I remember those moments in Kyoto and Osaka.

I loaded it with a roll of Kodak Gold 200, and these became my first photographs with it.

In my trip to Japan, I bought a disposable camera and managed to develop the photos during those same days. I knew that experience would become an important reason for me to finally buy a film camera — my first one. An Olympus Pen EE-3 for ¥18,000.

Deep down, I already knew I wanted one. I was only waiting for the right excuse to do it. I loaded it with a roll of Kodak Gold 200, and these became my first photographs with it.
